Monday-write the words 2x’s each in their notebook and study.
Tuesday- write a sentence for each word numbered 1-6.
Wednesday- write a sentence for each word numbered 7-12.
Thursday-Pre-test-corrections must be written 5x’s each on the back of the test paper.
Friday -Final Test
Phonics
This week we will work the letters g, r, k and c. We will take Phonics Assessment #3 on Wednesday. We will also complete a Phonics Reader on Wednesday this week. Look for that in your child’s folder and have them read the story to you.
Reading
We will work on the story “I Went Walking” on Monday and Tuesday. Please read the story and practice the key words with your child on those nights. We will take the Key Word Test on Wednesday. The new story will be “I Went Walking.” Read that story and practice the new key words on Thursday night.
Math
We are working on Subtraction this week. We will take the Chapter 3 Test on Thursday.
Science
We will continue to work on Balance in the Foss series. We will make mobiles on Monday.
*We will also discuss Farm Animals and Johnny Appleseed this week.*
