Monday
-In your child’s key word envelope you will find all of the important words that 1st graders should know! We have learned them throughout the year. We took a pre-test on them today. Please use that pre-test and the word cards to practice the words. We will take another final test on the words next Tuesday, May 24. That test will be used as the final Reading grade for this year!
-Read “The Lady in the Moon”-we will not be testing on this story, but please read it with your child tonight and tomorrow night!
-Complete Spelling Practice Book pg. 85 and study-this will be our last Spelling lesson!
-Complete the Math Fact and Homework sheets for Lesson 106.

Tuesday
-We have Gym today-wear sneakers!
-Read “The Lady in the Moon.”
-Practice the white word cards.
-Complete the Spelling “Trace, Write and Spell Aloud” worksheet
-complete the Math Fact and Homework sheets for Lesson 107

Wednesday
-Practice the white word cards.
-complete Spelling Practice Book pg. 87 and study for the Pre-test tomorrow

Thursday
-Have your child read “Hide and Seek” to you.
-We have Library-remember to bring your book!
-Spelling Pre-test; write corrections 3x’s each and study.
-We will go to the High School to see the Spring Concert!

Friday
-Have your child read “Arts and Crafts Day” to you.
-Parents need to sign and return test papers in the Friday folder.

-Read “Mr. Bones” and practice the green key words for the Oral Wordlist Test tomorrow
-complete Spelling Practice Book pg. 83 and study for the Pre-test tomorrow


Thursday
-We have Library-remember to bring your book!
-Spelling Pre-test; write corrections 3x’s each and study
-We will take the Oral Word List Test for “Mr. Bones”
-We will have a “Teens Against Tobacco” program this afternoon!

Friday
-We will take the Vocabulary and Comprehension Test for “Mr. Bones” today.

Monday
-Read “The Dot” –we took the Oral Wordlist Test today and the Vocabulary and Comprehension Test will be given tomorrow
-write the correct Spelling word next to the matching picture on the worksheet
-complete the Math Fact and Homework sheets for Lesson 101
-We will continue to work on the Animal Unit this week!

Tuesday
-complete the “fill in the blank” worksheet and study
-complete the Math Fact and Homework sheets for Lesson 102

Wednesday
-We will go on our Field Trip! It looks as though it is going to be a bit rainy and cool, so make sure that your child has a jacket or a hoodie. We will still go into the zoo for the program with the zoo keeper even if it is raining. Hopefully by 1:00 it will clear up and we will be able to roam around the zoo! Make sure that if you didn’t order a lunch from the cafeteria, that your child has a lunch in a disposable bag, no lunch cans!

Thursday
-We have Library-remember to bring your book!

-complete the Math Fact and Homework sheets for Lesson 102
-We started a new story today! Read “Mr. Bones-Dinosaur Hunter” and practice the green word cards
