Reading
We will work on the story “Little Bear’s Friend” this week. The Key Word and Comprehension Tests will be given on Friday. Read the story and practice the Key Words nightly.
Math
We will take the test on counting pennies, nickels and dimes on Tuesday. We will review on Monday. We will work on counting quarters and “Using Money” for the rest of the week. The following week, we will start “Time.”
We will work on Weather in FOSS science this week! We will use bubbles on Thursday!!

We will make Tumbleweed Snack on Friday. If you would like to send something to add to our snack, we need pretzels, popcorn, goldfish, M&Ms, raisins, cheerios or chex cereal.
Math
We will continue to work on counting pennies, nickels and dimes to $1.00 this week.

-We will have a Virtual Field Trip to the Bronx Zoo on Thursday morning at 10:00. It is a Long Distance Learning program that Mrs. Groody has set up for us!!

We will review “Fractions” on Tuesday. And we will take the Chapter 21 Test on Wednesday. We will begin Chapter 22 “Counting Pennies, Nickels and Dimes” on Thursday. Please practice counting the coins at home!!
