Tuesday- write the words 2x’s each in the notebook and study
Wednesday- unscramble the words on the worksheet provided and spell the words aloud as you unscramble them
Thursday-Pre-test-corrections must be written 5x’s each on the back of the test paper.
Friday-Final Test

Phonics
We will work the “The Dropping Rule” and diphthongs oy and oi this week. We will have a Phonics Reader on Thursday this week.

Reading
We will work on the story “Me On the Map” this week. The only test this week is an oral test on the Key Words and that will be given on Friday! Read the story and practice the Key Words nightly.

Math
We will continue to work on Math facts to 12! The Chapter 13 Test will be given on Thursday! We will begin Chapter 14 on Friday and it is more practice with Facts to 12!

We will work the v/cv’ pattern and digraph ea this week. We will have a Phonics Reader on Friday this week.

Reading
We will begin Book 1-4 this week! The first story is “A Bed Full of Cats.” Please practice the story and key words nightly. The tests will be given on Friday.

Math
We will continue to work on Math facts to 12! Practice at home!!

Notes
-Our Valentine Party will be on Friday afternoon! Students can bring Valentine cards any day this week!
-Please send the party money ($4.00) for the second half of the year as soon as possible.

We will continue to work on skip counting, even and odd numbers and ordinal numbers this week. We will take the Chapter 14 Test on Thursday. We will work on math facts to 12 next.

Science
We will work on Air and Weather in the Foss Science series this week!
