Monday- write the words 2x’s each in the notebook and study
Tuesday- write a sentence for each of the words numbered 1-6
Wednesday- write a sentence for each of the words numbered 7-12
Thursday-Pre-test-corrections must be written 5x’s each on the back of the test paper.
Friday-Final Test
Phonics
We will work on the digraph ph and the soft sound of g this week. We will have a Phonics Reader on Monday and Wednesday this week.
Reading
We will work on the story “Tumbleweed Stew” this week. The Key Word and Comprehension Tests will be given on Friday. Read the story and practice the Key Words nightly. We will make Tumbleweed Snack on Friday. If you would like to send something to add to our snack, we need pretzels, popcorn, goldfish, M&Ms, raisins, cheerios or chex cereal.
Math
We will continue to work on counting pennies, nickels and dimes to $1.00 this week.
We will work on FOSS science this week!
Notes
-We will have a Virtual Field Trip to the Bronx Zoo on Thursday morning at 10:00. It is a Long Distance Learning program that Mrs. Groody has set up for us!!
