            -Spelling Homework—write the Lesson 2 words 2x’s each in the Spelling Notebook

            -practice the new pink Key Word Cards

Tuesday-Day 4-Gym (wear sneakers!)  *Wear orange for “orange you glad you are drug free!”

            -complete Math Practice 1-5

            -complete Reading Worksheet 37

Wednesday-Day 5-Library (bring Library books!) *“I mustache you not to do drugs”—wear your mustaches and mustache NS spirit shirts.

            -We will take the Unit 3 Math Test tomorrow!  We will review in school!

         -read the Decodable Reader “Jill Can” to someone at home.

            -complete Spelling Worksheet pg. 142

Thursday-Day 1-Music *“hairs to a drug free life”—crazy hair day

         -No homework!  Have fun Trick or Treating!

Friday-Day 2-Art   

            Halloween Parade and Party!

Costumes must be sent to school in a bag and labeled with your child’s name.  No props can be brought to go with the costumes (for example; swords, brooms, guns, etc.)

The parade will begin at 2:00!

            -practice Spelling words orally

            -complete Math Practice 1-2

 

Wednesday-Day 5-Book Exchange (bring Library books!)

            -write the Spelling Words 2x’s each on workbook pg. 30 and study for the Pre-test

·        I will give a Spelling pre-test tomorrow!  Anyone that spells all of the words correctly will be finished Spelling for the week.  If any words are incorrect, your child will have to write the word(s) 3x’s each and study for the Final Test on Friday.

         -We will take the Oral Assessment on the High Frequency words today.

-Students will be dismissed at 11:45 today and there won’t be school for students on Monday, October 13 due to Teacher In-service.

-Both folders are in book bags today!  Please check both and return any necessary papers!

-Tuesday is our Book Fair shopping day!  It is preferred that students shop on their scheduled day, but if you would like to send money a different day you may do so.  Remember that all money should come in an envelope with your child’s name on in!
