Tuesday-Day 1 Music

-read “Cans” to someone at home and practice key words.  Ask your child to re-tell the story to you in his or her own words.  We will take the oral word and sentence test tomorrow!     

-complete Spelling Workbook pg. 229

       Wednesday- Day 2 Art

-complete Math Practice 6-4 

-write the Lesson 7 Spelling words 2x’s each and study.  We will take the Spelling Pre-test tomorrow!

            Thursday- Day 3 Computer Class

                 -complete Math Practice 6-5

                        -read “A Big Fish for Max” to someone at home

                        -write Spelling corrections 3x’s each and study for the Final Test tomorrow!

                        -We will take the Weekly Reading Test for “A Big Fish for Max” tomorrow!             

            Friday-Day 4 Gym Class

-Students who donate $1.00 can wear jeans today!  The office has sent home information on this.  It is Gym day for us, so students must also wear sneakers!

         -write the new Spelling Words (Lesson 7) 2x’s each in the note book

            -We started Unit 2 in Reading today!

            -practice the new green key word cards nightly

Tuesday-Day 3 Computer Class

                        -read “Get the Ball” to someone at home and keep at home for practice

                        -practice key words

       Wednesday-Day 1 Music

-complete Math Practice 6-1.  We started Unit 6 today, we will be subtracting to 20 in this unit!

-review the Spelling words orally

            Thursday-Day 2 Art

-We will have Brainshow Mania today!  Thank you to PTO for providing this for us!!

                 -complete Math Practice 6-1          

            Friday-Day 3 Computer Class

         -Spartan Spirit Day!! Wear NS clothing!!

                        -practice the Spelling Words orally tonight

                        -review the Reading Key Words

       Wednesday-Day 1 Music

             -read “The Test” to someone at home.  Keep at home for practice!

                        -write the Spelling Words 2x’s each and study for the Pre-test tomorrow!

            Thursday-Day 2 Art

                 -write Spelling corrections 3x’s each and study for the Final Test tomorrow           

                        -complete the Math Fact Practice Worksheet

            Friday-Day 3 Computer Class

         -Spartan Spirit Day!! Wear NS clothing!!

-We will have a Game Day this afternoon for the December Behavior Reward!  If your child has a favorite (non-electronic) game that he/she would like to bring, please send it to school on Friday!

Monday-Day 4 Gym (wear sneakers)

-read “Duck Has Fun” to someone at home, keep at home for further practice!

-practice the new white key words (review those nightly until known)

-write the new Spelling Words 2x’s each.  There are now 12 Spelling Words and the last two will be sight words that will need to be studied, they usually can’t be “sounded out!”

 

            Tuesday-Day 5 Book Exchange (bring Library books!)

                 -complete Math Practice 5-8

 

       Wednesday-Day 1 Music

             -complete Math Practice 5-9

                        -read Animal Park in the hardcover Reading Book with someone at home.

 

            Thursday-Day 2 Art

                 -complete the Spelling pg. 213

                        -complete the Math Review Worksheet

 

Friday-Day 3 Computer Class

         -Spartan Spirit Day!! Wear NS clothing!!

 

Notes

-Please remember to send a snack with your child daily.

-Check homework folders nightly and remove all papers that don’t need to be returned.  Also, please look over your child’s homework to check that it is correct.  Homework is used as reinforcement to what is learned during the day!

-Sign all tests in the Friday folder and return to school on Monday.
