Reading
The new story for this week is “The Puddle.” The Key Word and Comprehension Tests will be given on Friday. Read the story and practice the Key Words nightly.
Math
We will work on Calendars and Time. We will also work on Adding to 20 this week!!
Science
We will have a Quiz on Animals on Tuesday. There will be packets sent home on Monday to review for the quiz.
Notes
-We will go to Hershey on our Field Trip on Wednesday!! Please make sure your child dresses for the weather and wears the NSE red t-shirt. Sneakers should be worn. All students must bring a bagged lunch, with all contents being disposable. We will be leaving after announcements, so please don’t be late to school.

We will continue to work on Time to the hour and half hour this week. Please practice at home! The test on “Time” will be given on Thursday. On Friday we will begin Chapter 25 “Time and Calendar.”
We will work on a unit about “Animals” to prepare for the Field Trip and we will also work on Earth Week activities!!

-Please return the Field Trip permission slip as soon as possible!-Send an empty 2-liter soda bottle to school by Wednesday, if possible

We started learning about “Time” today! Please practice telling time to the hour and half hour at home!
We will work on Wind in FOSS science this week! We will make pinwheels and kites this week!!

-We will have an Easter treat on Wednesday morning. Students will be dismissed 2 hours early that afternoon. School will not reopen until Tuesday, April 14!!
