Monday-Day 9 Art

·         We started Topic 12 “Length” in Math today.  We skip around a bit so that we cover all the topics that we need to get to for 2^nd grade! 

·         We took the Weekly Test for “Life in the Forest” today!  We will take the Spelling Pre-test for the last story in Reading Book 2 tomorrow!!  The story is “Honey Bees.”

·         No homework tonight!!

Tuesday-Day 10 Music 

·         Read “Dee, Lee and the Green Plants” to someone at home

·         Complete Math Practice 12-1

Wednesday-Day 1 Computer Class

·         Complete math Practice 12-2

·         Read “Bandit” to someone at home

Thursday-Day 2 Book Exchange (remember to bring Library books!)

·         Review Spelling Words orally

·         We will be doing a Dr. Seuss Science Experiment today!!

Friday-Day 3 Phys. Ed. (remember to wear gym clothes and sneakers!)

·        It is Read Across America!! We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday!!  We will eat Green Eggs and Ham and do some other Seussical activities!!  One of our activities will be with students from Bloomsburg University!!

·        We will also have our February Behavior Reward in the afternoon it will be a movie, popcorn, drink and extra recess!!

v We will have our January reward this afternoon!! Your child can bring an electronic device with your permission to play with during this time!!  Your child must not have 5 or more behavior notes on the calendar to qualify for the reward!!

 

Wednesday-Day 6 Computer Class “100 Day of School!!”

·        We will be doing all kinds of activities that deal with the number 100 today!!

·        If you would like, your child can bring 100 of some kind of food item to share with the class at snack time!! Please count them out at home and send in a baggie (don’t send anything that would need to be refrigerated!!)  Some examples are; M&m’s, Goldfish crackers, Fruit loops, Skittles, Oyster Crackers, Mini Pretzels, etc.
