Monday-Day 1 Music

         -complete Spelling Workbook pg. 327

               -read “I’ll Try It” to someone at home and keep at home for further practice.

Tuesday-not a rotation day due to PSSA Testing. We will not have special classes on these days!

         -read “We Go Fishing” to someone at home and keep at home for further practice.

         -practice the Spelling Words orally for the Pre-test tomorrow

Wednesday-not a rotation day due to PSSA Testing. We will not have special classes on these days!

         -review the Spelling corrections orally

            -read “A Place to Play” in the Reading Textbook

Thursday-Day 2 Art

            -No Homework!!  Please still bring a book bag tomorrow due to Friday folders going home!!

Friday-Field Trip to Hershey!!

            -If your child didn’t order a cafeteria lunch please send one in a disposable bag!

            -Your child should wear his/her PTO t-shirt for the trip.

            -Dress code appropriate bottoms must be worn and sneakers.

-Please do not send any money!            -If a camera is brought, your child will be responsible to hold it for the entire trip!

Monday-Day 4 Gym

         -write the new Spelling Words 2x’s each in the Spelling Notebook

               -read “Can Billy Fly?” to someone at home and keep at home for further practice.

               -practice the new Key Word Cards nightly until known

Tuesday-not a rotation day due to PSSA Testing. We will not have special classes on these days!

         -read “Vi, Mo and Me” to someone at home and keep at home for further practice.

         -no written homework, please review the Math papers nightly with your child

Wednesday-not a rotation day due to PSSA Testing. We will not have special classes on these days!

         -no written homework

-please review the Spelling Words orally

Thursday--not a rotation day due to PSSA Testing. We will not have special classes on these days!

-no written homework

Friday-Day 5 Library (bring Library books!)

         -Spartan Spirit Day! Wear red and blue or spirit shirts!

 

**Due to PSSA Testing there are many schedule changes throughout the week.  Please review the following changes.  We are also cutting back homework for the testing weeks!

-please review orally any of the Spelling Words that were wrong on the Pre-test to prepare for the Final Test tomorrow and read “Honey Bees” in the textbook.

               -complete Math Practice 9-2

Tuesday-Day 3 Computer Class

         -complete the Math Review Worksheet

               -review the new key words that are in the envelope

-read the Phonics Reader “Dee, Lee and the Green Plants” to someone at home and discuss.  Keep the reader at home for extra practice!

Wednesday-Day 4 Gym (wear sneakers and gym clothes)

-complete the Math Practice 9-3

-complete Spelling Worksheet pg. 302

Thursday-Day 5 Book Exchange (remember Library Books!)   

         -complete the Math Practice 9-4

-read the Phonics Reader “Bandit” to someone at home and discuss.  Keep the reader at home for extra practice!

Friday-Day 1 Music

         -Spartan Spirit Day! Wear red and blue or spirit shirts!

Students are not permitted to take toys out to recess, so please don’t allow your child to bring them to school.  There are toys and equipment for students to use on the playground!
