Monday-write the words 2x’s each in their notebook and study.
Tuesday- write a sentence for each word numbered 1-6.
Wednesday- write a sentence for each word numbered 7-12.
Thursday-Pre-test-corrections must be written 5x’s each on the back of the test paper.
Friday -Final Test
Phonics
This week we will work on consonant blends and the letters d, f, and h. We will take Phonics Assessment #2 on Wednesday. We will also complete a Phonics Reader on Wednesday and Friday this week. Look for those in your child’s folder and have them read the story to you.
Reading
We will work on the story “Look At Me” on Monday and Tuesday. Please read the story and practice the key words with your child on those nights. We will take the Key Word Test on Wednesday. The new story will be “I Went Walking.” Read that story and practice the new key words on Thursday night.
Math
We will be taking the test on “Adding to 10” on Tuesday. We will begin Chapter 3 on “Subtraction Concepts” on Wednesday.
Science
Science packets will be sent home on Tuesday, please review those on Tuesday evening. The Science test on the “5 Senses” will be given on Wednesday.
Notes
-Picture Day is Tuesday! You must return the picture envelope to school, even if you are not purchasing pictures. If you would like to purchase pictures the money must be in the envelope on Tuesday.
