Monday-trace, write and spell each word aloud
Tuesday-write a sentence for each word numbered 1-6 and study

Phonics
We will work on combinations this week. We will have a Phonics Reader on Tuesday and Friday. Please look for that in your child’s folder and have he or she read it to you!
Math
We will continue to work on Tables and Graphs this week. We will also celebrate the 100th Day on Wednesday by doing many activities that involve the number 100.
Reading
Our new story is “I’m a Caterpillar.” Please read the story and practice the wordlist nightly. The stories and tests are getting harder. We discuss the story everyday here in school, but it is also important for the students to read the story nightly and discuss the story as they read it.
We will take the Oral Test on Thursday, and the Vocabulary and Comprehension Test on Friday.
Science
We will work on AIR and WEATHER in FOSS Science this week! And out Student Teacher will also begin a unit on WEATHER on Thursday!
