Thursday-FIELD TRIP to Hershey Chocolate World

·         Remember to send a lunch if you haven’t ordered one from the cafeteria…it must be in a disposable container, we won’t be able to carry anything onto the ride or into the theater.

·         Your child should wear the black Spartan shirt that the PTO gave them and dress code appropriate bottoms (no jeans.)

·         Please do not send any money.

·         Students should eat breakfast at home, not at school.  We will be leaving as soon as announcements are over!!

·         We will celebrate Read Across America!!  Mr. Burns will bring us Green Eggs and Ham and we will do Dr. Seuss Activities with some Bloomsburg University students.  Students can bring their favorite Dr. Seuss book to read during silent reading today!

·         We will also have our PBIS reward in the afternoon.  Students can bring board games and/or electronic games to play!!

• Suffix –ed Rule

Suffix –ed makes three different sounds /ed/ after a t or a d;

/t/ after an unvoiced sound; /d/ after a voiced sound.

·         “Boosterthon” started today!! Check your child’s folder for the Pledge Book and a note!!  Sign up and get pledges!! PTO uses the money raised to send us on field trips, bring in special things like Brain Show Mania and have a Carnival at the end of the year!!  The Fun Run will be on Thursday, January 23.
