Monday-trace, write and spell each word aloud
Tuesday-write a sentence for each word numbered 1-5 and study
Wednesday-write a sentence for each word numbered 6-10 and study
Thursday-write Pre-test corrections 3x’s each
Friday-Final Test
Phonics
We will work on digraph ow and soft c this week. We will have a Phonics Reader on Thursday. Please look for that in your child’s folder and have he or she read it to you!
Math
We will continue to work on Tables and Graphs this week.
Reading
Our new story is “Where Are My Friends?” Please read the story and practice the wordlist nightly. The stories and tests are getting harder. We discuss the story everyday here in school, but it is also important for the students to read the story nightly and discuss the story as they read it.
We will take the Oral Test on Thursday, and the Vocabulary and Comprehension Test on Friday.
Science
We will continue to work on our Weather and Seasons unit.
Notes
-Please send the $4.00 party money as soon as possible. The Valentine’s party is on Friday! Students can bring their Valentine’s to school any day this week!
-There is no school on Monday, Feb. 15 in observance of President’s Day.
