Phonics
We will work on digraph ow and the rule v’/cv with a this week. We had a Phonics Reader today. Please look for that in your child’s folder and have he or she read it to you!
Math
We will continue to work on Tables and Graphs this week.
Reading
Our story is “Where Are My Friends?” Please read the story nightly. The stories and tests are getting harder. We discuss the story everyday here in school, but it is also important for the students to read the story nightly and discuss the story as they read it.
We will take the Vocabulary and Comprehension Test on Friday.
Science
We will continue to work on our Weather and Seasons unit.
Notes
-Please send the $4.00 party money as soon as possible. The Valentine’s party is on Friday, February 19! Students can bring their Valentine’s to school any day this week!
-The Test Folders were sent home today with important papers that need to be filled out and returned. Also, remember to sign and return all test papers. The Spelling Test can be kept at home weekly!
